Going forward for 'the league' with the second season from April to September, we are launching something similar but with a few tweaks to make it even better! 🥳

Each fixture will be once per month, but its own separate event. This means you can set up your own team for each date as it comes out - either keep your same players or change them to create a new team of four with its own name each fixture. Each date is therefore a standalone event having a winning team each time 🏆

Furthermore we are opening up the competition to non-members for a premium. This gives us added practise against outside players of PBC UK & we have already started inviting non-members.

So start creating your own team of 4: 2 men and 2 ladies for this first 'Open' Team Challenge. If you want to play but dont have a clue who to ask - just tell me and i will try to put teams together.

FIRST FIXTURE

Date: Sunday 6th April

Venue: Wrekin College, wellington, Telford

Time: We are hoping for all day play starting 10am- 5pm- but dependent on number of teams who want to register -

Categories - two ability levels are planned (upto 3.5 and above 3.5 rated either self rated or dupr)

Dupr: we can input all results as an official tournament when players are linked to pickleball central uk

Format: play all other teams entered on that date in your ability category, ladies doubles, mens doubles and mixed matches

Cost: £25 per player for the day including refreshments, £30 for non-members

Prizes for winning teams.

A minimum number of teams is required for the event to take place. At this stage - for the next week - we are gathering all interested teams to let us know asap so we can plan the day :))
